EXOTIC KERELA TOUR > Trivandrum – Alleppey – Kumarakom – Periyar – Munnar – Cochin > 7 Nights / 8 Days
Enjoy the warmth and colour of exotic Kerala, one of India’s most vibrant regions. Explore the tranquil tropical backwaters, lined with swaying palms and simple fishing villages, savour the scented spice plantations of Periyar and relax in the charming mountain air of Munnar, a former British hill resort. Our Kerala program includes the unforgettable experience of spending the night on a unique houseboat or ‘Kettuvalom’. |
Day 01 Arrive Trivandrum: Met on arrival by our representative. Traditional welcome with garlanding and transfer to the hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel. |
Day 02 In Trivandrum: Day relaxing at the beach. Overnight stay at the hotel. |
Day 03 Trivandrum / Alleppey (175 Kms - 04 hrs): After breakfast we drive to Alleppey and board our private Houseboat. We travel through the lush green backwaters towards Kumarakom enroute seeing various local activities of the people living along the backwaters. Our crew will cook the delicious Keralan food and show places of interest along the way. Overnight on board the Houseboat.

Day 04 Alleppey / Kumarakom: We arrive in Kumarakom and after breakfast disembark the houseboat. Day free to explore the nearby Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary. Overnight stay at the hotel. |
Day 05 Kumarakom / Periyar (125 Kms - 03 hrs): After breakfast we drive to Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary. On arrival check in to the Hotel. Afternoon we take a spice plantation tour and 2 hour boat ride towards dusk to see the animals including elephants, sambar, gaur and deer. Overnight stay at the hotel. |
Day 06 Periyar / Munnar (100 Kms - 03 hrs): After having our breakfast at the hotel we leave for Munnar. The drive is very scenic with many places for photos. Munnar is surrounded by extensive forests and tea plantations. On arrival Check in to the Hotel. Afternoon visit Eravikulam National Park home to the endangered Nilgiri Thar. Overnight stay at the hotel. |
Day 07 Munnar / Cochin (127 Kms – 04 hrs): After breakfast drive to Cochin and check in to the hotel. In the afternoon we visit Fort Cochin area including Chinese fishing nets, St Francis Church, Mattancherry Palace, Jewish synagogue and spice markets. Evening watch a performance of Kathakali Dance. Overnight stay at the hotel. |
| Day 08 Leave Cochin: Transfer to the international airport to Board your homeward flight or connect to your onward destination.
