| Day 1:
Arrival Delhi : Assistance on arrival, traditional welcome with
garlanding and a welcome drink at hotel. Overnight at the hotel |
Day 2:
Delhi/Jaipur (05 hrs. Journey) : Morning transfer to Jaipur- the
fabled "pink city" of the desert named after Jai Singh, the former
Maharaja of Jaipur. This is the only city in the world symbolizing
the nine divisions of the universe through the nine rectangular
sectors subdividing it. The palaces and forts of the yesteryears,
which were witnesses to the royal processions and splendors are now
living monuments. Arrive Jaipur and transfer to your hotel where a
welcome ceremony awaits you. Girls dressed in traditional Rajasthani
attire anoint your forehead with "a red tikka" followed by
ceremonial garlanding. After lunch embark on a half day sightseeing
tour of this royal city visiting City Palace-the royal residence of
the Maharaja of Jaipur and is known for its stunning architecture,
it also houses a museum. Later visit the Palace of Winds also
known as Hawa Mahal, this elaborate building, now little more than a
faηade, is encrusted with delicate screens and carved balconies from
which the royal ladies, confined to their quarters, could sneak
views of the outside world. Past, present and future merge at Jai
Singh's Observatory, where time has been accurately measured since
the 17th century. Evening free to explore the local markets. There
is a timeless appeal to Jaipur's colourful bazaars
where one can shop for Rajasthani handlooms and trinkets. Overnight

Day 3:
Jaipur and Excursion to Samode : After breakfast visit the majestic
Amber Fort where you ride upon Elephants back to the former capital
of the royals set against the backdrop of the wooded hills. Later
drive to Samode famous for the elegant Samode Palace, Nestled
picturesquely amidst rugged
hills, Samode Palace with its stately grandeur and frescoed walls is
a pleasant
journey into the glorious past. The Palace is full of architectural
delights-the birds, animals and flowers painted on the walls of
Sultan Mahal, the dining room with stained glass windows and its
collection of old family portraits, the Durbar Mahal with its
painted ceilings and intricately carved walls and beautiful
chandeliers give this place its old world charm. Arrive Samode and
explore the splendid Palace and also have your lunch in the Palace.
Evening drive back to Jaipur. This evening enjoy your dinner at
Chokhi dani (an ethnic village resort) where you will have an idea
of the village life of Rajasthan here you will also enjoy various
traditional Rajasthani dances, puppet show and various other
interesting activities. Overnight at hotel |
Day 4:
Jaipur/Delhi (05 hrs. Journey) : This morning after leisurely
breakfast drive back to Delhi and transfer to the international
Airport to board your Flight back home. End of our services..
