The Kathmandu valley (Central Nepal) offers the most praised modes

well known to the world as the city of Living Goddess ( Kumari) who
is worshipped and taken in a chariot procession annually. |

| Tour Itinerary |
Day 1: Kathmandu
Arrive Kathmandu. Meet at the airport and transfer to hotel. The
tour manager will give pre-tour briefing. Rest of the day is
leisure. O/N at Hotel. |
Day 2: Kathmandu
Sightseeing of Pashupatinath Temple- the most sacred of the Hindu
temples in Nepal dedicated to lord Shiva, built in 1696. Boudha Nath
Temple- the worlds largest stupa; a sight of great reneration to the
Buddhist., Swayambhunath temple - the oldest Buddhist shrine.
Looking east from here, one can see the entire Kathmandu valley
spread out below. and lunch break in Kathmandu durbar square. – the
temple of the Living Goddess and the old Royal Palace. Finally,
visit Kasthamandup – a temple built from a single tree from which
the Kathmandu derives its name.And then transfer to Hotel. |
Day 3: Kathmandu-Nagarkot
AM: Sightseeing tour of Bhaktapur city- Kathmandu valleys most
medieval city also known as Bhadgaon and was one of the three
Kingdoms of Mallas. It is famous for Lion gate, the picture gallery,
the Golden gate and palace of 55 windows.
PM: After lunch, we proceed to Changu Narayan- situated at the end
of a long ridge which runs well into the valley, it is said to have
been built in 323 AD and said to be the oldest temple in the valley.
Then we take half an hour drive to Nagarkot- east of Kathmandu,
situated at an altitude od 2175 m above sea level. The panorama of
the major peaks of the eastern Nepal Himalayas, including mount
Everest can be seen from here. The best location for sunset & sunrise. Overnight at Hotel in Nagarkot. |
Day 4:
Nagarkot-Kathmandu
Early wake up call is given by the hotel staff to enjoy the sunrise.
Weather permitting, have a panoramic views of Himalayas. After
breakfast , take your pack lunch and go for short hike. After hiking
drive back to Kathmandu in the evening dinner followed by Nepali
cultural program. O/N at Hotel.

Breakfast then final departure transfer
