Slowly descending through rice terrace, we cross the steel cable suspension bridge across the glacial river of the Modi Khola and commence od ascent. As we trek up the many staircases, we contemplate the beauty of the Himalaya at a relatively close range and imagine the glaciers flowing from them to form the river below us.
