| Tour Itinerary in Detail |
Day 1:
Kathmandu
Arrive Kathmandu. Meet at the airport and transfer to hotel. The
tour manager will give pre-tour briefing. Rest of the day is
leisure. O/N at Hotel. |
Day 2:
Kathmandu
Sightseeing of Pashupatinath Temple- the most sacred of the Hindu
temples in Nepal dedicated to lord Shiva, built in 1696. Boudha Nath
Temple- the worlds largest stupa; a sight of great reneration to the
Buddhist., Swayambhunath temple - the oldest Buddhist shrine.
Looking east from here, one can see the entire Kathmandu valley
spread out below. and lunch break in Kathmandu durbar square. – the
temple of the Living Goddess and the old Royal Palace. Finally,
visit Kasthamandup – a temple built from a single tree from which
the Kathmandu derives its name.And then transfer to Hotel. |
Day 3:
Kathmandu-Pokhara-Phedi - Trek
After early breakfast transfer to airport and fly to Pokhara or
drive straight to phedi the trek starting point which is about 6
hour drive from Kathmandu. Upon arrival, you will be met a sherpa
team to commence your trek. Overnight at camp/lodge. |
Day 4:
Phedi-Lndrung - Trek -1900m Walk approx 5 hours
This is an interesting day as we trek through forest and out of
gullies as the path takes us towards the mountains. The rhododendron
forests as lush and offer a protective canopy for the smaller
delicate flora, such as primal and Danphe. It also provides a haven
for bird life and we can hear their varied calls as we move through.
The trail soon opens into fields as we approach the village of
Landrung. Stay at camp/Lodge. |
Day 5:
Landrung-Ghandrung - 2500 m - Walk approx 3 ½ hours
Our destination today is easily seen across the valley, the
attatactive Gurung village of Ghandrung. Unfortunately, we must
descend to the valley floor to reach it ! Slowly descending through
rice terrace, we cross the steel cable suspension bridge across the
glacial river of the Modi Khola and commence od ascent. As we trek
up the many staircases, we contemplate the beauty of the Himalaya at
a relatively close range and imagine the glaciers flowing from them
to form the river below us. It really is a magnificient location and
a photographer's delight. Our leisurely approach along these ridges
with their fine mountain views ensures proper acclimatization and
the un-hurried apportunity to fully savour this magnificient
scenery. Stay at camp/lodge. |
Day 6:
Ghandrung- Tadapani - 2650 m Walk approx 5 hours
Our trail meanders uphill through fields and into the forest of
rhododendron and magnolia. We pass by waterfalls that cascade down
narrow gullies that provides the perfect home for many small ferns
and delicate plants. Tadapani is a clearing in the forest and a rest
place for porters. We can observe the local people as they travel
by. Stay at camp/lodge. |
Day 7:
Tadapani-Ghorepani - 2713m Walk approx 3 ½ hours
This area offers some of the finest trekking in Nepal. The Annapurna
range & Machhapuchhre dominate the mountain through glimpses further
east to Lamjung Himal and the Manashlu range are possible. The route
to Ghorepani( horse water) passes through the villages and is
rewarded with the most attractive scenes of rural village life in
the hills of Nepal. About an hours climb to poon hill from Ghorepani
provides an even better, Unobstructed view of the high Himalaya.

| Day 8:
Ghorepani-Tikledhunga- 1577m walk approx 4 hours There will not be a
single uphill step today as we descend all morning and afternoon to
our camp while most of the descent is gradual and easy. The descent
from Ulleri to Tikledhunga is memorable , a stone staircase built
into the side of mountain that seems to have been constructed for
giants. Stay at camp/Lodge. |
Day 9:
Tikledhunga-Pokhara - Trek /Drive
Approx 2 hour of walk through the villages of Gurungs '' Gorkhas''
down to Nayapul and drive to Pokhara. Overnight at Hotel. |
Day
10:
Pokhara-Kathmandu
Eighter take a morning flight to Kathmandu enjoying the mountain
scenery and take enough time to go for shopping in Kathmandu or take
a drive of approx 6 hours back to Kathmandu. Evening dinner followed
by Nepali cultural program. O/N at Hotel. |

12:
Breakfast & final departure transfer
