Annapurna Short Trek

( 9 Night 10 Days) Trek Cote : NEPAL/PTT/TK 25

If you don’t have a much time to do longer treks in Annapurna region , you can cobble together an interesting trek from parts of longer treks. Many fine short treks begion and end near Pokhara and this is one of this. After a stiff climb to Ghorepani for great views of Dhaulagiri and Annapurna, this trek returns through Ghandruk, a large Gurung village and headquater of ACAP( Annapurna Conservation Area Project)

There are a number of options for short treks in the foothills to north of Pokhara. Most of these variations will visit Ghandrung and Ghorepani. The former is a large,traditional Gurung village while Ghorepani is the settlement below the famed vantage point of Poon hill, one of the best spots from which to view the central Nepal Himalayan range.

Trek Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive Kathmandu, Transfer to Hotel & rest.

Day 2: Drive/Fly to Pokhara & Rest

Day 3: Drive Pokhara to Nayapul then trek to ulleri

Day 4: Ulleri to Ghorepani /Poon Hil

Day 5: Ghorepani to Tadapani

Day 6: Tadapani to Landruk

Day 7: Landruk to Pothana

Day 8: Pothana to Phedi then Pokhara, Rest

Day 9: Drive/Fly Pothana to Kathmandu , Rest

Day 10: Departure transfer
