Tibet autonomous
region, the mystic Shangri-la, roof of the world, has captured
man's imagination for centuries. Great explorers and adventures of
the country have ventured into this holy land rendered inaccessible
by the hostile natural conditions and bandits that waylaid them
across through the Himalayas. Tibet's past grandeur, majesty, magic
and mystery still remain undiminished. One can still see today
namads herding their yaks, pildrims worshipping at sacred shrines,
as well as the expansive, striking and enduring Himalayan
topography.
After breakfast, transfer to the airport and fly over the mighty
Himalayas to Lhasa, the heart of Tibet. Check into your hotel and
after lunch, visit Norbu Linkha- the summer palace of Dalai Lama.

Day 2:
Wednesday Explore Lhasa
Full day sight-seeing tour of gold roofed palace of Potala built in
the time of fifth Dalai Lama, Jorkhang temple- a spiritual center of
Tibet and Barkhor- a colorful market. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 3:
Thursday Explore Lhasa
Full day excursion tour to Drepung- the largest monastery in the
Tibet which was founded in 1416 and until Potala was built, it used
to be the residence of 3rd ,4th & 5th Dalai Lama. Continue to Sera
Monastery- one of great institution of Gelugpa sect. Overnight at
Hotel.
Day 4:
Friday Explore Lhasa
An excursion of Ganden monastery- the first founded and main seat of
the Gelugpa , Yellow Hat' sect. It lies about 40 km east of Lhasa at
an elevation of 4300m. The views seen from Ganden, down into the
Kyichu valley and across to the distant snowcaps, are exceptional.
Overnight at Hotel.
Day 5:
Saturday Lhasa-Kathmandu
After breakfast, transfer to the Gongar airport for flight back to
Kathmandu or to your onward destination.
At least two day before should arrive Kathmandu for Tibet visa purpose and on last day flight will arrive Kathmandu at 09:25 hour.
Possible only between Apr to Oct every year
due to flight schedule. During Dec to Mar every year there will be
no flight between Kathmandu & Lhasa to match this itinerary
