Tour Itinerary in Detail |
Day 01: Home - Beijing
Flight to Beijing, Capital of China, then ,free. |
Day 02: Beijing sightseeing
Stroll in the Tiananmen Square, ascend the Tiananmen (the biggest
square in the world), then go and see the Forbidden City (the palace
for China,s emperiors in history) and the Summer palace. |
Day 03: Beijing sightseeing
Driving to visit the grand human work--the Great Wall, which winds
its way over 3000 miles towards the west of China, long ago in
history, it iwas the symbol of Chinese people defended agains
invaders. Then in the afternoon, just enjoy an unforgetable Beijing
Hutong tour by pedicab. |
Day 04: Beijing - Urumqi - Kashigar
In the morning, take flight to Urimqi, Capital of Xinjiang Uygar
autonomous region, local guide send you air ticket help you to switch
plane to Kashgar, Kashiga is a boarder city, the biggest one at the
west end of China, it is a place populated by a lot of
minorities, mainly Muslim. |
Day 05: Kashigar sightseeing
in the morning Go and stroll in the famous lacal bazaar to feel the
soul of locals and touch their life. Then visit Aitigar mosque and
the local family. |
Day 06: Kashigar - Yecheng
Leaving for Yecheng. Yecheng is a small town just by the west end of
the Gobi desert (drive 250km) |
Day 07: Yecheng - Mazhar
This a small yown on the Xinjiang-Qinghai highway, it is about 220km
to the 7th highest mountain of the world--Qiaogeri
mountains(altitude:8611m). (drive 260km) |
Day 08: Mazhar - Tielongtian
Driving 350km |
Day 09: Tielongtian - Ritu
Today we will drive through the highest pass on the Xinjiang-Tibet
highway, and visit a boarder lake--Bangongtso (owned by China and
Parkistan). (Drive 385km) |
Day 10: Ritu - Shiquanhe - Tsada
Shiquanhe is the government site for Nari prefecture, pass by it to
Tsada, which is now a small town, but from the 10th-17th century,here
was the political, and economical centre to the powerful kingdom---Guger
kingdom which ruled this area.enjoy the miracl view of the ruins in
the glory of sunset.(280km) |
Day 11: Tsada - Baga
Leaving early for Baga, get to the Holy mountain and holy lake area
(driving 330km) |
Day 12: sightseeing
Visit the holy mountain--Mt.Kalashi, which is thought to be the
centre of the God of destroying and creating, and is the publicly
recognized holy mountain for Hindhism, Buddhism and Bon relion( black
sect of Tibetan Budhism). Then visit the Lake Manasarova. Bathing in
it or drinking the water from it will cure your sickness and get rid
of your sins. |
Day 13: Baga - Payang

After leaving Baiyu, there is a wonderful part of river, which is
very suitable to rafting. Two side of tit are mountains covered with
lush and green trees, grass.nice local houses dot in it, it is a real

Ganzi,visit Ganzi monastery in the glory of the shining of its
golden eaves and roofs. Behind the monastery is a nunery, it was built
by a Renpocher who once lived in Switzland, now he is here to teach
local girls and buil hospitals, schhol |
Day 15: Saga - Old Tingri (380km)
20km our to the east of it, turn to the south, follow the Yalong river
to Xinlong, at Xinlong, a nice monastery is at the top of the
mountain, inside is a trainning school, there are some young Lama
studying ..
Go on to arrive at Litang.
Litang is a high town with a elevation of 4100m, located at a wide
,flat grassland. The meaning of <Litang> is a wide, flat grass land .
Visit Litang monastery, the biggest one in west Sichuan
province.Litang monastery once was the residence of 7th Dalai Lhama
when he was chosen. t that period Tibet was in chaos of wars |
Day 16: Old Tingri - Mt.Everest
Early start from Gangga(old Tingri). |
Day 17: Mt.Everest area sightseeing
Visit the highest monastery in the world --Rongbuk monastery, just by
it, you can see the mangnicent Mt.Everest. You can trek there and
back.there are a lot ofglaciers aroud and a turrencial river flowing
through the valley. |
Day 18: Basecamp - Shigatse

Early start for Shigatse. On a high pass, you can look back to have
your last view of Mt.Everest, Mt.Chuaoyou, Mt.Makalu, all over 8600m.

Day 19: Shigatse - Lhasa
In the morning, visit the Panchan Lhama,s permanent
residence---Tashilunpo monastery, which is largest one in scale in
the rear Tibet. Then driving to Lhasa, the heart of Tibet. |
Day 20: Lhasa sightseeing
In the morning, visit Potala palace (winter palace for
Dalailama) Jhokang temple, Parkor street, Jokhang temple is the most
sacred place for all Tibet pilgims for inside a gold gilded
Syakamuni Bhudda statue is worshiped, in the temple, you will surely
be impressed by the pilgrimas action and their behaviours,for they
are so devote and so pios to Bhudism. After here you are free to
walk around in the city,enjoy the local folklore and its tradition.
If you like, when the tour of today finished, you can stayyou
alone, then you can take a taxi back to hotel. |
Day 21: Lhasa sightseeing
Tsepung monastery, this monastery is the most famous one in
Lhasa city, and it is one among the 6 most well known monasteries for
Gelupa in Tibetan area. I think the guide is willing to give you time
to see the monastic building arrangement, then in the afternoon, go
visit the Tibet musem, and Norbulinka. At night enjoy the local
performance. |
Day 22: Lhasa - Chengu, switch plane to Shanghai
Morning flight will send you to Chengdu, there, the local guide
will meet and give you air ticket ,help you check in to catach plane
to Shanghai.(although there are flights from Lhasa to Shanghai, but
only twice a week.) |
Day 23: Shanghai sightseeing, Shanghai - Home
In the morning, Visit Yu yuan garden, the very traditional
contruction with strong Chinese features. At noon time ,we will
transfer you to airport to catch flight back to Home |
