Tour Itinerary |
Day 01: Home - Beijing
Upon arrival in Beijing self transfer to hotel to have a rest in the
afternoon free. |
Day 02: Beijing sightseeing
In the morning met with the local tour guide. And then stroll in the
Tian a Man square, which is probably the biggest one of its kind in
the world. Then go to visit Forbidden City (Gugong) the emperor's
palace which was built between 1406 and 1420 with 9000 halls and
rooms, containing many precious relics. Facing south and rising from
a terrace, the largest palace in the world represents the supreme
power and authority emperors enjoyed during the feudalistic
dynasties as well as best exemplifies the elements of palace
architecture. In the afternoon visit Summer Palace which was built
in 1153 in northwest of Peking. It is an outstanding example of
imperial gardens in classical Chinese style, housing tens of
thousands of precious cultural relics. |
Day 03: Beijing sightseeing
After the breakfast go to the Great Wall, one of the eight ancient
wonders of the world and the only man-made construction on earth
that the astronauts can see in the moon. Starting out in the east on
the banks of Yalu River in Liaoning Province, the Wall stretches
westwards for 12,700 kilometers to Jiayuguan in the Gobi Desert. It
was built as a defensive structure and gradually become the symbol
of the ancient Chinese civilization. Then visit the Ming Tombs,
which is a group of mausoleums of 13 Ming emperors and their
empresses and concubines. Two of the toms are opens to the public.
The most famous is the Dingling, an underground palace. |
Day 04: Beijing - Chengdu
Taking flight to Chengdu, upon your arrival at Chengdu, guide meet
you and transfer to hotel. In the afternoon, visit the Wenshu
temple, which was built in the Han dynasty with strong Private
garden's features. visit old street and old houses with Shichuan
construction style. At night, see local performance featuring on
face changing. |
Day 05: Chengdu - Leshan
In the morning, visit the world treasure animals-Giant Pandas in
the Chengdu Panda research centre for breeding. early August is the
baby born season for Giant Pandas. then in the afternoon, driving to
Leshang to view the biggest Buddha statue in the world the Leshan
giant Buddha, which is 76m high, carved out of a mountain, and also
you can see the replica of the Bamiyang Bhudda, the original one had
been destroyed by Taliban soldiers. both of the statue are standing
just by the Qiyi river. |
Day 06: Leshan - Khangding
Khangding is the capital of Ganzi Tibetan autonomous prefecture.
Which in history was the eastern end of the Salt &Tea trading
business between Tibetans in Tibet and Chinese Hans, a river flows
through it with the rapid water sounding in your ears. |
Day 07: Khangding - Litang
after you leave Khangding, to your left is the highest mountain in
Sichuan--Mt. Gongga (7556m),in Litang, visit the Litang monastery,
which once the residence for 7th Dalai Lhama when he was chosen, for
at that time Tibet was in chaos of wars, and also it is the most
famous one in world and the biggest one in Sichuan. |
Day 08: Litang - Daocheng- Yading
Early leaving Litang for Yading, so you can take wonderful photoes
in Haizi mountains to the south of Litang. Haizi mountains are the
remains of the movement of ancient glaciers, Haizi was shaped out of
the melted glaciers. Rest in Daocheng for a whike, go on tour to
Yading, overnight there. |
Day 09: Trekking
Trekking into valley to see 3 very beautiful snow mountains, the
most famous and beautiful one is the Mt. Yangmaiyong(5005m), snow
covered all year round. by historical recordings, This place is the
place once visit by Luoke, an american in 1930s -- named Shangri-la. |

Day 10: Trekking back-Daocheng- Xiangcheng 1N at guesthouse. |
Day 11: Xiangcheng - Zhongdian
visit Songzhanlin monastery, and Napa hai (the nickname of Sea),
stroll around in the rest time of the day. |
Day 12: Zhongdian - Lijiang
Upon arrival there, visit the Old town and it traditional buildings.
this old town was originally built in the middle of 13th century
when the king Kublai khan led his army into Yunnan, till now it has
a history of more than 800 years. |
Day 13: Lijiang - Dali
in the morning ,visit the Yulong snow mountain over a pass. its
elevation is 5596m.when getting to Dali, stroll in the peaceful
streets and visit the old building in Dali town and Erhai (a small
lake) |
Day 14: Dali - Kunming
in the morning, free time for you to walk around in Dali. in the
afternoon, drive to Kunming, the capital of Yunnan province.

Day 15: Kunming - Stone forest - Kunming
Go and visit the stone forest |
Day 16: Kunming - Home
Taking flight back to Home or fly to your planned destination. |
