Day 01: Home - Chengdu
Flight arriving at Beijing, the exciting capital Arriving in Chengdu
from Home or other city. |
Day 02: Chengdu - Chamdo
Fly to Bangdha airport(140km to the south of Chamdo).on the
way to Chamdo city,visit the giant footprints on the precipice and
Karo relics which indicates the huaman movements traced back to 5000
years ago around Chamdo.Upon arrival in Chamdo,in the
afternoon,visit Chamdo monastery,the biggest one and overlooking the
whole city. |
Day 03: Chamdo - Gyangdha
Drive over the Mt.Damala to Gyangdha .Gyangdha is located beside a
river(named:Zhiqu river)between two high mountains.Drive 22km
further east to Tongpu village and visit the Wara monastery(700
years old,belonging to Sakyapa order).Then back to Gyangdha town. |
Day 04: Gyangdha - Derge
Driving past Tongpu village and going further east to Gangto,which
is the last town in Tibet before going into Derge of Sichuan
province and famous for her artists of Tibetan dances(Tibet opera
style).after passing Gangto checkpoint ,driving to visit the Palpun
monastery(a Kagulpa monastery,the biggest and most famous in
Sichuan),then down the mountain and arrive at Derge. |
Day 05: Derge sightseeing
At Derge,visit the famous Derge Printing House,well known for its
rich ,unique collection of Buddhist books and wood carved printing
boards.it was listed as one of the three most renownd printing
center in Tibet.visit Gengqing monastery(Sakyapa order).then free
time. |
Day 06:Derge - Manigange - Zhuqing monastery
Driving over the Que'er mountains(6168m) to Manigange.on the
way(after the pass),visit the Xinlu lake(4040m).arriving at Zhuqing
village.visit the Zhuqing monastery and Zhuqing colledge of Buddhism
study. |
Day 07: Zhuqing monastery - Shiqu county
Visit the Chacha monastery, Axu prairie and the memorial hall to
King Gesar.then back to main road to Shiqu. |
Day 08: Shiqu - Yushu
At a place 30km to the north of Shiqu town,visit the Sesuel
monastery.Passing by Xiewu(a small village) and drive across a
bridge over Jingshjing river(the upper reach of Yangtse river) to
reach Yushu.before arriving,visitDangkha monastery(of Kagyulpa
order) and Tsiana mani-stone piles(famous for its huge number of
Mani stone pieces,it was said ther are more than 230 millions). |
Day 09: Yushu sightseeing
visit Temple of princess Wencheng,Lheba gulley(3km further after
Temple of Wencheng),Batang monastery(Kagulpa order at Batang village
in Yushu) and Jiegu monastery(built in 1398,belonging to Sakyapa
order). |
Day 10: Yushu - Langqian county
Visit Longxi monastery.Langqian county is a place where manu
monasteries belong to all type of orders existing.for adventure tour
in this area,it is real worth to trek around. |
Day 11: Langqian - Riwoqi
Visit the Chajiema grand hall of Riwuqi monastery,which ibelongs to
Kagyulpa order,famous for its special constructure and
outlooking.the local Khamba people thought it as important as the
Jokhang temple in Lhasa.by Tibetan Canlender ,the 6th month will see
the hosting of a grand festival. |
Day 12: Riwoqi - Chamdo
Drive along Ziqu for a while and climb over Zhujiaola
mountain to arrive at Chamdo. |
Day 13: Chamdo - Chengdu
Fly from Chamdo to Chengdu.end of your tour.at Chengdu ,change
flight to your planned destination. |
