Airport
Chengdu ShuangLiu International Airport is one of the top four airports in China. Its annual flow of passengers reaches over 500 million. Besides, the airport comes fourth in tourist traffic and has now more than 160 local and international flights to over 60 cities around the world. Located in the suburbs of Chengdu, it takes around an hour to get to the airport from the city center.

Rail
Chengdu is the biggest hub of railway network of southwest China, including railway lines of Baocheng, Chengkun, Chengyu and Chengda reaching places like Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Yunnan, Shanxi, Guizhoou, Hubei, Henan, Gansu and Xingjiang.

Highway
Chengdu Highway Network covers a large area of China, including highways of Chuazang, Chuanzhen, Chuanxia, Chuanqing and Chengyu to provinces in southwest and northwest China. Other exepressways are: Chengdu-Chongqing, Neijiang-Zigong-Yibin, Mianyang-Guangyuan, Le’shan-Emeishan, Yaan and Dujiangyan. Besides, a highway from Chengdu to Jiuzhaigor is now open for tourism. Also, the government has decided to build highways from Chengdu to Shanghai.

Bus Route
There are more than 80 routes of public buses and minibuses to urban and rural areas of Chengdu. There are two bus routes for tourists traveling in urban areas: Bus No.301:WuhouTemple-Fuan River-Qingyang Palace-Xinhua Park-Wangjiang Park; Bus No.302:Dufu Thatched Cottage-Qingyang Palace-Wenshu Academy-Chengdu Z00 Giant Panda Base. Taxis are plentiful here, charging RMB1.2-1.6 perkm. There are also pedicabs for city tours.
