Wuhan, the capital of Hubei Province, lies where the middle reaches of the Yangtze River. It is strategically important both in land and water transportation. Comprising Wuchang, Hankou and Hanyang, the city proper now has a population of 3.35 million.

As a famous historical and cultural city, Wuhan have many traditional scenic spots like the Yellow Crane Tower, Yangtze River Bridge, East Lake, Memorial Site of the 1911 Revolution, Guiyuan Temple, etc.
 
Wuxi (literally means No More Tin) was built over 3,000 years ago. According to the book, in 772 B.C., tin and lead were found in what is today Wuxi. At that time, all weapons and farming tools were made of bronze, an alloy of copper and tin. After 500 years, however, tin run out. Hence the name, Wuxi (No More Tin), which signifies peace.
 
Wuxi is located north of Taihu Lake and south of the Yangtze River. Consisting of the city proper and three suburban towns, the total area of Wuxi is 4650 square kilometers. Climatically, Wuxi has distinct seasons, with the temperature averaging 15.5 degrees Centigrade.
 
Wuxi is an important town in Jiangsu Province. It nevertheless is an attractive place to visit with its network of canals and cobbled streets. The major attraction for most visitors are Lake Taihu, the third largest fresh water lake in China and two other fine gardens -- Mei Yuan, or Plum Garden, and Li Garden. Each has its own charm.
 
Xihui Park, located on the western edge of Wuxi is a famous park. There are the remains of the Hui Shan Temple built in 420 A.D. and the Huishan Spring that was known as far back as the ninth century. The spring is "the second oldest spring in china".
 
Located in the center of Shaanxi Province, Xi'an covers an area of 860 square kilometers. Known as Chang'an in ancient times, Xi'an is the capital city and the political, economic, cultural and transportation center of Shaanxi Province. It is also one of the newly industrialized bases in China. Historically, 12 dynasties across a time span of 1,000 years, including the Zhou, Qin, Han and Tang, set their capital here. It became the only city in China with such a long history as the capital of so many dynasties. Xi'an was also the starting point of the famous Silk Road. It was listed as one of the four ancient capitals in the world.

Xi'an leads the nation with its concentration of cultural items and ancient relics. Specifically, 238 sites are designated by the state as "key relic-laden areas to be protected". More than 4,000 tombs have been excavated and 120,000 relics unearthed.

The major attractions in Xi'an include Museum of Banpo Ruins and the Banpo Matriarchal Village, the Tumulus of Emperor Qinshihuang, the Terra-Cotta Warrior Museum, and etc.
 
Being the capital of Qinghai province, Xining is located in the east of the Region. Xining has a high altitude, low temperature and little rain.

Xi'ning is an important city along the famous "Old Silk Road". It has been named "Xi'ning" from Song Dynasty (420-479A.D.). Being one of the "Four Tourist Zones" of Qinghai province, Xi'ning has many famous tourist sites, for example, Ta'er Lamasery, which is the birthplace of Tson-kha Pa, and the founder of the Yellow Scet of Lamaism; Qutan Temple, Xi'ning Mosque; and the ruins of the Old Tang-Tibet Road.

Liuyueliu Art Festival is held every year. In the morning, with sorcerers leading the way, the villagers bear a "divine sedan chair" on their shoulders and paraded it in every house in the village. The ritual is designed to protect families from evil and mishap. Next morning, the villagers gather to decorate the nearby mountain with religious streamers before returning to the village temple for round after round of sorcerers' dances.
 
Xishuangbanna Dai Autonomous Prefecture is located in the southern part of Yunnan Province, over 500 kilometers from Kunming, the provincial capital and covering an area of 2500 square kilometers. It is bounded on the south by Laos and Myanmar, with River Lancang running through the whole region.
 
This autonomous prefecture has under its jurisdiction three city and counties: Jinghong, which is the capital, Mengla and Menghai. Yunjinghong, the county seat of Jinghong, means in the Dai language "a city at dawn". It is now open to foreign tourists as an excursion center. The whole region has a temperate and moist climate, fit for the growth of all kinds of vegetation. This wooded country of exotic trees and flowers is the haunt of rare birds and animals-a paradise in which all living beings thrive and flourish.

Xishuangbanna is a multinational prefecture. Of its population of 600,000 one third are Dais, the rest being Hanis, Hans, Blangs, Lahus, Yaos and others.
 
Zhengzhou is the political, economic and cultural center, as well as the capital of Henan Province. it is also a major hub of railway transportation in China. it has a reputation as the "Green City of Central Plains" with 35.5 percent of its area planted with trees and other greenery.

Zhenzhou has a long history, having taken shape as early as 3,500 years ago as the capital of the Shang Dynasty. The famous tourist attractions of this city include the site of the Shang capital, the Yellow River Tourist Zone and the Han Tombs
