It covers the area of 932 sq. km. and situated in the southern part of Nepal near the border with India. The park extends from 100m to 815m of altitude. One-horned Rhinoceros and the Royal Bengal tiger are the major attraction of this Chitwan National Park. However, the park is the natural home of over 700 species of flora and fauna. You can see the various wild animals and birds playing around the park during your Chitwan trip.

The Chitwan trip starts from Kathmandu. The total distance from Kathmandu to Chitwan is approx. 175 km and the road condition is good. You will drive on the Tribhuvan Highway from Kathmandu to Naubise to the west. From Naubise, you will continue drive on the Prithvi Highway up to Narayanghat. Then it continues on Mahendra Highway to the destination. Mahendra Highway which is also called East-West Highway that connects Nepal from East to the west. The total driving time is approx. 5 to 6 hour.

You will be picked up at the Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu during your arrival time. We will manage your Chitwan trip package according to your time period available in Nepal.
