Agra, once the capital of the Mughal Empire during the 16th and early 18th centuries, is four hours by road from New Delhi. Tourists from all over the world visit Agra not to see the ruins of the red sandstone fortress built by the Mughal emperors but to make a pilgrimage to Taj Mahal, India’s most famous architectural wonder, in a land where magnificent temples and edificies abound to remind visitors about the rich civilization of a country that is slowly but surely lifting itself into an industrialized society…
Arrive at Delhi Airport (Flight Detail TBA). On arrival greet by our representative & transfer to Agra, There is only one place in the world in which to see the Taj Mahal and that is Agra. In addition to the wondrous Taj Mahal, Agra is dotted with unique attractions like the massive Agra fort, the city’s labyrinth of bazaars. On arrival check inn to hotel & rest of day on relax.
Evening (IF TIME PERMITE): – Photo Tour of Taj Mahal from Mehtab Bagh — the Moonlight Garden —
Believed to have been designed by Shah Jahan to view the Taj on moonlight nights, far away from the Maddening crowd, The garden complex is situated on the left bank of Yamuna opposite to TajMahal. It is a huge square measuring approximately 300×300 m and in straight alig nment with the Taj Mahal. The forestry plantations and agricultural fields provide a green forecourt to TajMahal and its reflection in Yamuna. Here you can witness the sunset over the Taj Mahal.
